Playa de Palma

The area

Playa de Palma is a sand beach tourist center which has about 6 km long and an average width of 50 mts, these dimensions make it the best know and most popular beach on the island of Mallorca.

The beach of fine golden sand, is equipped with all necessary facilities: lifeguards, seaside resort services, kiosks, showers, sunbeds, parasols, rental of water sports equipment, etc.

The marinas, Yacht Club s´Arenal and Yacht Club Ca´n Pastilla, are located at both ends of the Playa de Palma.

Playa de Palma is located just 7 kms from the airport and 15 kms from the capital, Palma de Mallorca. Along the coast, there is a pedestrian promenade and a bike lane to the city center.

During the day, in the Playa de Palma, as well as the beach and the terraces, one can stroll round the weekly market or ride on the tourist train or visit the fabulous water park.

At night, a wide range of leisure is waiting for you, many bars, terraces and discotheques where you will find your favourite atmosphere.

Getting there

From the Airport (approx. 6km):
Take the airport exit in the direction to Llucmajor / Playa de Palma, exit number 11.

From the Port (approx.15km):
Exit in direction to the centre, Llucmajor / Playa de Palma, exit number 11.
